Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and/or back-end development, modern web technologies, and best coding practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or jQuery
- Familiarity with back-end technologies: PHP, Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
- Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or hosting platforms (AWS, Netlify, etc.)
- UX/UI awareness and collaboration with design teams
Key Responsibilities
- Develop well-structured, efficient, and maintainable web code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Build responsive websites optimized for mobile and desktop platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and perform ongoing maintenance and updates.
- Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Maintain security, scalability, and accessibility standards.
